ABOUT THE PROVIDER

 

Elizabeth “Ellie” Curie is a board certified Family Nurse Practitioner with over 15 years of clinical experience. Ellie brings excellent, creative, and holistic medical care to each of her patients. She has a love for people as well as a deep medical knowledge  -- qualities which make her a treasure to any patient who has the opportunity to work with her.

 

There is a reason she named her practice "Tenacity" Health. She is a tenacious person, living each day and approaching every patient encounter this same way -- with zeal and a never-give-up attitude. She has also experienced severe medical problems and chronic pain herself, which gives her true insight and compassion towards the struggles of others.  

 

Her medical experiences as an NP include: bioidentical hormone replacement therapy, medical weight loss, aesthetics, interventional chronic pain management, house call urgent care, family practice, correctional healthcare, and addiction medicine. Prior to that, her specialty work as an RN included bariatric unit, infectious disease, traumatic brain injury, spinal cord injury, and emergency department.   She has additional certifications in Functional Medicine, Hormone Replacement Therapy, Medical Weight Loss, Sexual Health, Chronic Pain Management, Injections for Chronic Pain, Botox, Health Coaching and Anti-Aging.

 

Ellie lives in the Rocky Mountains of Colorado near Pikes Peak. Her life is enriched by family and friends as well as mountain farm life. She particularly enjoys horseback riding, hiking, mountain biking, and fishing.  Her ultimate goal is to worship the Lord in truth and Spirit and to fulfill His calling on her life.  She loves to pray with and for her patients - just ask!
