ABOUT THE PROVIDER

My name is Elizabeth "Ellie" Curie. I am a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner with 17 years of clinical experience across multiple areas of medicine. My goal is to build an excellent evidence-based and holistic partnership with each of my patients. I love people and hold deep clinical knowledge which I am constantly expanding. I have always felt blessed to serve in healthcare, in a role I believe God created me for.

There is a reason I named my practice Tenacity Health. I am a tenacious person, and I approach each day and every patient the same way: with joy, determination, and a never-give-up mindset. I have personally experienced severe medical problems and chronic pain, which has given me a deeper level of compassion and insight into what it truly feels like to struggle physically, emotionally, and spiritually. I do not just treat symptoms - I want to help you feel seen, heard, and supported as a whole person.

My functional medicine (root-cause) approach helps patients get real, lasting improvement - not just temporary symptom control. Instead of rushed visits and growing prescription lists, we focus on uncovering what is driving your symptoms and building a personalized plan that supports true healing and long-term health.

My clinical focus includes both functional medicine and conventional medicine, with specialties in bioidentical hormone replacement therapy, thyroid optimization, medical weight loss, chronic pain management, gut optimization, metabolic health, and more. Over the years, I have worked as a Nurse Practitioner in interventional pain management, mobile urgent care, family practice, correctional healthcare, and addiction medicine. Prior to becoming an NP, my nursing background included the emergency department, bariatric step-down unit, infectious disease, traumatic brain injury, spinal cord injury, and more.

I have earned additional certifications in Functional Medicine, Bioidentical Hormone Replacement Therapy, Medical Weight Loss, Peptides, Sexual Health, Chronic Pain Management, Injection Therapies for Chronic Pain, Botox for aesthetics and for migraine, Holistic Health Coaching, and Anti-Aging Medicine.

I live in the Rocky Mountains of Colorado near Pikes Peak. I grew up in Northeast Ohio on a horse farm, and that upbringing shaped my love for nature, hard work, and healthy living. Outside of work, my life is enriched by my son, incredible friends and family, and life on our little mountain farm. I especially enjoy horseback riding, biking, hiking, shooting sports, strength training, and cooking. I have a deep love for holistic medicine and a strong commitment to continual education so I can help others reclaim their story and build a healthier future.

Above all, my ultimate goal is to worship the Lord in spirit and truth and to fulfill His calling on my life. I believe in helping others restore their health, they too are able to accomplish the roles God has called them to. I love to pray with my patients - just ask!
